Target Audience: Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses
Description: This eight hour course provides an overview of IV therapy and meets the Nebraska Board of Nursing licensure requirement for LPN's. It also provides an excellent review for RN's who have not utilized IV therapy recently.
Topics include legal aspects of IV therapy, peripheral IV's and central lines. Continuing nursing education contact hours are awarded for those who meet the requirements for successful completion. Participants may complete at their own pace during a 30 day period. No extensions are provided.
Requirements for Successful Completion: In order to receive contact hours the learner must
- Complete the online modules.
- Complete the post-test with a score of 80% or higher.
- Complete the online course evaluation survey including attestation of completion.
